Michael Gadek, 74, of 160 W. 71st Street, New York, NY died on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Michael was born on November 5, 1946 in Troy, New York. He attended Cardinal McCloskey High School. He received degrees and graduated with honors from Utica College and Pace University. He worked at AT+T communications and Lucent technologies for 25 years before retiring in 2011. Michael also worked as a retail salesperson at "Mood Indigo", one of the New York Soho neighborhood's premier collectible and antique emporiums for 20 years.
Michael is survived by his sister, Mary Roylance of Albany, NY, his nephew, Stephen Roylance of Latham, NY, and his niece, Nicole Claris of West Rexbury, MA.
Michael was the son of the late Ernest R. Gadek and Lena Theresa Rizzo Gadek.
